The Broken Chain
We little knew that morning that
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
in death we do the same.
it broke our hearts to lose you,
you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you,
the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories,
your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you,
your always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
and nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
the chain will link again.
These are two other tattoo ideas that I have. One is my astro sign (Virgo) and the other is my sons' (Leo). I don't care for the Virgo's profile, but I like to concept. Right now I am still brainstorming ideas of what I want done. Afterall, once it is done, there is no turning back!

that poem is very sweet! if the whole poem is too much for you maybe you can get a line or two?? That's what I'm going to do with a poem that I like. It's waaaaay too long but the final line inspires me so much that I want to tattoo it. As for the astrological sign, I also am planning on that, but I'm going to incorporate the constellation of my sign..that's an idea for you, maybe you can use the stars in your constellation and your son's sign?
