Vatos Locos

One of my BF's turned 30 recently. For her birthday, she had a Dirty 30 Cholo party. Yes, CHOLO party! It was awesome. We all dressed up as cholas/cholos. Here are a few of pictures that were snapped.

Mountains Get Away

With summer coming to an end soon, I am saddened to know that we didn't go camping this summer. Pete and I decided that it would be nice to get away for the day and head to the mountains. We bought some sandwiches, drinks and chips and went to O'Fallon Park (which is only about half an hour out of the city). The park has a creek that runs through it, so we decided to play in the water.

Happy Hump Day

Geez! I haven't posted in a while so I thought I would post a mug shot and say hello.

For the past few months I have been creating "Playlist of the Month" CD's for my sister. I think I will share a few of the songs/videos here on my blog. What I used:

UDPP to prime the lids

Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland Pallette: Eat Me, Drink Me ES on my lids.

MAC Zinc Zone Greasepaint Stick applied on the lash line and smudged up and

onto the lid and into outer crease.

Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland Pallette: Mushroom ES applied onto the Zinc Zone and smudged up and onto the lid and outer crease.

With a MAC 224 brush I blended out the Mushroom.

My lil King turns two!

Rocco Rey turned two last week. I can't believe how fast the past two years have flown by. On minute, I was holding my baby boy and bottle feeding him, now I am coping with the Terrible Two Tantrums! Where has the time gone?! Haha!

We threw Rocco a birthday party at a local amusement park (Lakeside Amusement Park). Everyone, including the adults had a blast!

New Do

So I decided to give myself some short, straight bangs. I did them myself and must admit...not too shabby! Hehehe! I love em! Having my new short bangs gives me so many ptions. I can pin them back, wear them straight or side sweep them. I am very please with my new change.

Pete says that I look like Mia Wallace (from Pulp Fiction). LOL :-)

Virgin Skin

I may not be a virgin, buy my skin is (LOL)...I am still without tattoo. I have always had committment issues (when it comes to tattoos ;-)). With the passing of my nephew, I have been thinking about getting a tattoo in rememberance of him. Here is a beautiful poem that I stumbled upon on the web. Last week I deleted my myspace account. Yeah, I know, myspace is sooooo yesterday, right? Well, this morning, on a whim, I deactivated my facebook account as well (not that anyone will miss me or notice that I am gone).

Too often, I find myself picking my iPhone up and checking my facebook account. It's an impulse.  A bad, nasty habit. And I ask myself, why? Who the hell do I really need to check on? Whose status update is REALLY that important? Hell, most of the time, I find that the shit people post on facebook is flat out ANNOYING. Do I really give a damn how tired you are? Bitch, if you didn't want your feet to swell or your belly to grow, then why the hell did you get pregnant? Quit your belly aching already, people! Oh, and my biggest peeve is when people post their prayers to God via Facebook. Are you fucking serious?!! First of all, quit asking for shit! Seriously. That is really annoying. Secondly, do you think the Big Man up above is really sitting at his computer, performing miracles because your Facebook posts asked for it to be so? Get a fucking life. Although I am not religious, I like to consider myself spiritual and I am sure that there are better ways to reach out to God other than a stupid post on a social networking website.

I have decided to dedicate my Facebook time to my blog instead. Not that posting on my blog makes me better than the next Facebook addict (I obviously left FB because I was addicted), but I like to think that I brought some smiles and laughs to my fellow FB addicts with my funny, witty posts.

With this said, I hope to start giving my blog more attention and love (not that anyone even reads this blog, but it's all good, I do it for my own theraputic reasons).
