So I was off of work for close to two weeks. I had to have surgery to get a tumor removed from the artery in my neck (a benign carodid body tumor). I had my surgery on May 26th and spent the night in hospital. The surgery went well, with no complications and I was able to head home the next morning.
I spent the following few days on my recliner with an ice pack on my neck. Aside from being tired and a little swollen, I had very little discomfort.
